Our candles are made of lotion - not wax. The wick melts the semi-solid lotion until it's warm; about the temperature of bath water. The warm lotion opens pores, allowing for ultra-deep moisturization without burning or discomfort.

Light the candle and wait for the lotion to melt down (about 3 - 5 minutes for hands only, and 15 minutes for head-to-toe). Extinguish the flame, dip your fingers in, and apply to skin. There's no need to wait for the lotion to cool down - in fact, it's best applied immediately after it's extinguished. Or, use a candle warmer for flame-free, warm lotion.

Our lotion candles are made of soy, shea butter, coconut oil, jojoba, aloe vera, and essential oils - that's it. No chemicals, paraffins, wax, alcohol, or preservatives.
